Our journey is not complete until our gay brothers and sisters are treated like anyone else under the law – for if we are truly created equal, then surely the love we commit to one another must be equal as well.

I have to say I teared up a little here! With the change from an anti to a Pro-Gay clergyman, the inclusion of a LGBT poet in the inauguration and references to the Stonewall riots right up there with all the other awful, game changing moments in America's civil rights battle, I feel confident that DOMA will be a travesty of the past by the end of Obama's term.
